Babylonians had lofty designs for their Tower. They wanted their tower to reach high Heavens! According to Hebrew mythology, God did not like their trespass. He prevented them by ″confounding″ their language: So that, they could not understand, one another! God just scattered them abroad.

Babylon was the capital city of the ancient Chaldean Empire. It was located on the banks of Euphrates River – which still flows in the region. Jews were brought there in captivity, by Nebuchadnezzar during 597 and 586 B.C.

Babylonians, however, built ″Hanging Gardens″ – one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. In architectural terms, they were terraced – but looked hanging. Babylon was ran-sacked by Cyrus, The Great, of Persia in 538 B.C.

Moral of the story is: please do not trespass into the divine domain. There is, however, room for one exception. The exalted persona of George W. Bush – the President of the United States of America!

It has been, reported/alleged – and of course, denied by the White House staff – retained for this very purpose: ″That God himself had encouraged George W. Bush, to invade Iraq″! So the Weapons of Mass Destruction storey, is slated to be: the droppings of a bull.

It is upto the sole discretion of each democrat, to decide: which side he or she chooses to be?

Anybody could have been jealous of Mr Bush, for several reasons. Presidency of the United States of America – is just one of them. Specially if he/she was born a ″slave″ on a plantation in central Punjab – a province of, the then, British India.

The other prime reason to rule any aspirants out is; if he/she is not the child of a recent American President. Or, for that matter, a brother of an American State Governor.

Some other exclusive reasons are listed, hereafter.

• That Mr Bush had, Former Secretary of State Mr James Baker, as his Legal Eagle, to install him thru the US Supreme Court. (Remember Mr Baker had successfully pleaded for George William Bush’s first presidency.)
  
  
• That US First Lady Laura Bush praised President Bush’s (Jr) strength in dealing with the war in Iraq; disasters like the: September 11, 2001 terror attacks and hurricanes; Katrina and Rita, etc. The honorable, 1st lady had once summed it up on a TV talk show: ″He is doing great. He has big, broad shoulders″. No comments. Since this humble scribe too is ruled out on all scores. But his prospects are the most remote – on account of intellectual disparity.
  
  

Senator Bob Kerry’s barbed criticism is a thing of the past in view of the fact, that;

Bush 43, presidency inherited a surplus budget and fabulous goodwill for the American Nation. He has been ill-advised to squander both valuable assets – callously!?

A patriot American Officer in Iraq has aptly described the immediate U.S. option: ″Loose and create chaos in Iraq or Just loose″!!!

For the most wonderful peoples of the United States of America – this situation poses a very cruel choice.

The most enigmatic tragedy is that the stinking tyrant Saddam has started smelling better to the Iraqis! Perhaps to several others. 20/20 hindsight. Saddam remained the absolute custodian of The Babel Spiral – the glorious global heritage – for more than several centuries. B.C.E.

Thank God. Western democracies, have time-limits for rulers.
